First of all, I would like to say hello to Mr. Dr. Adel Abdul Mahdi and wish him success in this conference. I am pleased and honored to be present among you today on behalf of them, to share this great joy with you at the ceremony of the first scientific conference of the graduates of Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiya University.

Here, we should mention the efforts of the Independent Development Council (Majlis al-Tanmiyyah al-Mustagal), which was established and supported by Mr. Dr. Adel Abdul Mahdi, to train talented human resources through science in our beloved Iraq.

There is no doubt that the Independent Development Council has been a pioneer in this field due to its interest in building human beings and developing their abilities. Perhaps one of the biggest proofs of this is the creation of suitable conditions and the search for academic opportunities for dear students to obtain academic ranks for them. And for these dear students to be active in building the country, launching a free scholarship program for Iraqi students was great for the researcher and implementation of this goal. And we are proud that in 2013, the Independent Development Council sent the first study mission including (18) students to Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiya University, and this mission was the first launch of university studies in Al-Mustafa. The sending of scholarship students continued until today, and these scholarships were the cornerstone of establishing the Faculty of Humanities independently.

Also, the Independent National Assembly continues to send a large number of dear students and provides them with all scientific and administrative services and facilities, and the total number of students currently studying has reached about (750) male and female students. A large number of them have graduated and are now teaching in scientific centers and professors in a number of Iraqi universities, and others are working in administrative and important positions.

And it should be pointed out that the choice of Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiya University for the education of Iraqi students was not in vain, but because the university has a scientific and cultural dimension that helps to build students on a scientific and cultural level. Also, the administrative facilities of the university compared to other Iranian universities and the seriousness we have seen directly in pursuing the academic affairs of our dear students. All this is thanks to the cooperation and mutual trust between the Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiya community and especially the honorable president of the Al-Mustafa community and the independent Al-Tanmiyya Majlis, as well as the sincere instructions and followers of the Dean of the Faculty, Mr. Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Masoumi, who play the greatest role in removing obstacles and his care for dear students, and with We are grateful to them and to the educational and administrative staff of Al-Mustafa University for what they provide to our dear students.
